Dr. Ife Ojugbeli is Board-Certified in Internal Medicine, a Diplomate of American Board of Obesity Medicine, and a certified Life Coach. He graduated from the University of Lagos College of Medicine in Nigeria in 1988, and served one year in the Nigerian National Youth Service Corp in 1989.

From 1990-1993 he worked in Emergency Medicine in Trinidad and Tobago. He subsequently completed his residency in Internal Medicine in Brooklyn, New York. He was recognized as the most outstanding resident during his second year and served as a 4th year Chief Resident. He served in the Hospital Executive Committee and Patient Education Committee of Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn from 1995 to 1997.

Dr. Ife received his M.B.A. diploma from LeMoyne College in Syracuse, New York, and Certified Physician Executive (CPE) certification by the Certifying Commission in Medical Management.

He currently serves on the Board of Governors of Crouse Health Network. Dr. Ife Ojugbeli was a member of Transition Working Group for Crouse Clinical Integrated Network from 2014-2016, and has previously served in the Chittenango Rotary Club.

Dr. Ojugbeli believes that you can live a life of vitality into your 100s. In his career of over 30 years in three different countries, he has encountered a diversity of human problems and promise. He believes that the current epidemic of obesity and chronic diseases is a major threat to human possibilities. That is why he has dedicated his professional life to helping his patients lose weight and create health rather than just treat diseases.

He enjoys running and has completed multiple races, including the famous Boiler Maker and the Empire State marathon. He is married to a wonderful wife and blessed with six amazing kids and two grandchildren (and counting).
